Group parts around the receiving task
We group goods by the receiving task: regular panels by item, special widths by drawing reference, gate leaves with their opening codes and small fittings in counted packs. Contact protection is selected around coated surfaces, projecting edges and transport handling rather than an assumed universal pallet size.
For phased work, agree whether packing follows product type, site zone or installation sequence. That decision affects how many packs must be opened to start a particular area.
Agree the information on pack labels
Supply your warehouse or project label format during order review. Pack identifiers should connect each physical bundle to its item codes, quantity and packing-list entry. For phased projects, include the zone or delivery phase so installers can locate the required custom parts.
Include any restrictions on pack dimensions or weight imposed by the receiving equipment. The actual loading and unloading plan must suit the final packed goods and available handling facilities.
Define the transport scope in the quotation
For Europe, Australia and US shipments, give us the delivery country and named place or port. The quotation records the agreed trade terms, freight scope and responsibilities. Destination documentation and unloading conditions are reviewed for that order; a general export description is not a promise that every local charge is included.
Production timing, transport arrangements and required documents are confirmed for the order. Separate sample shipments from bulk dispatch where their packaging and transport requirements differ.
Check before labels and packaging are discarded
Compare pack identifiers and quantities with the delivery documents. Photograph visible damage in context, including the packaging and affected item reference. Record shortages or discrepancies before distributing loose components across the site.
