The worksheet organises dimensions, units, measurement conventions and drawing references. It is a purchasing record to complete for your order, not a pre-approved product design or test certificate.
Keep these descriptions separate

For example, panel width and post-centre spacing need not be equal. A coated wire diameter is not necessarily the steel-core diameter. Gate leaf width is different from the usable clear opening.
Link every sheet to a revision
Record the product or item reference, drawing number and revision with the dimensional information. Where an order contains several heights or post types, keep separate rows rather than combining them into an ambiguous range.
Retain the accepted sheet with the quotation and component schedule. If a dimension changes, review the components that connect to it and record the agreed revision.
