Understand the material and supply route

Our core manufacturing work covers custom metal fencing, gates and associated steel components. Complementary ranges can involve partner sourcing, including the applicable aluminium, PVC and agricultural products. Steel wire mesh, fabricated steel sections, aluminium profiles and PVC systems require different specifications. Steel enquiries define the wire or section and protective finish. Aluminium enquiries also need the profile and joining system. PVC enquiries need the matching infill, rails, posts and any required reinforcement. Similar panel dimensions do not establish compatibility between material systems.

What can you customise across the range?

Customisation means defining an achievable combination of product features for an identifiable order. Some buyers change one panel width to fit existing posts; others develop a complete range with their own item codes. Use the chosen collection to narrow the options before preparing the detail drawing.

Where are standard sizes and reference dimensions shown?

Dimensions are listed within the relevant family because a mesh-panel width, a temporary frame size and a gate opening describe different things. The welded mesh page provides panel construction examples; temporary fencing relates frames to their supports; privacy systems separates screen outlines from slat and profile dimensions.

Reference values are starting points for an enquiry. The accepted offer and drawing define the supplied dimensions, tolerances and available combination. A custom size is most useful when it includes the adjoining parts it must fit.

Build the package around the way you will buy

For contractors and project purchasers

Group the order by fence run or installation zone. A useful schedule separates regular panels, special bays, line posts, corner or end posts, gates and component sets. Link each item to its drawing and quantity. That lets the factory quotation and the site receiving list describe the same package.

For example, a project with two fence heights and a vehicle entrance needs separate panel references, the appropriate posts and a gate assembly. The full boundary length alone cannot describe every item. Use project supply coordination for the document and revision workflow.

For importers, distributors and OEM ranges

Group products by repeatable stock item: construction, size, finish, mating parts and pack unit. Keep the approved drawing and label reference connected to that item. Replacement clips and matching gate hardware should remain traceable even when they are ordered separately from the original panels.

When reviewing a wholesale quotation, compare equivalent supplied scope. A panel-only price excludes components that may be included in a complete-bay offer. Our distributor supply service covers range consistency and repeat orders.

Information for European, Australian and US enquiries

Include the delivery country and destination in the brief, together with the project's specified documents and measurement units. For US drawings that use feet, inches or wire-gauge labels, identify the dimensional and gauge convention so it can be carried into the manufacturing drawing. For European and Australian projects, state any project-specific standard or approval requirement with the relevant product configuration.

The destination also helps define transport packing, unloading constraints and the documents requested for the shipment. Any product-performance requirement belongs to the offered assembly and its evidence. A market name on an enquiry does not define that requirement by itself.
