Assemble the handover documents
Assemble the current layout, component drawings, gate schedule and agreed installation information with the delivery records. Keep the project designer's foundation and anchorage details alongside them, with the responsible installation and specialist teams identified.
Check delivered references against those documents before components are distributed. If a part or drawing differs, resolve the discrepancy before it becomes concealed within the installation.

Use the downloadable inspection record to preserve the installed location, product reference, observed condition, photographs and action owner. This makes later enquiries to the factory more precise, particularly when a replacement part must match an earlier custom drawing.
Record observations without guessing the cause

A visible check does not establish structural capacity or replace a specified test. Where movement, damage or operation raises a concern, refer it to the responsible competent person and follow the site's arrangements for restricting use.
Keep repair details with the original references
Record any replacement or modification against the original item and drawing. Before ordering a substitute clip, post or gate fitting, confirm the mating dimensions and finish. Keeping that information together supports compatible factory supply throughout maintenance.
